The course is intended to be the base for all newly qualified umpires, it has been designed for people wanting to umpire in entry level cricket so it is ideal for players who want to do their 10 over stint on a Saturday or for parents and coaches supporting games at your club.

We also use it for those who want to go into umpiring at a senior level whereby Warwickshire ACO will provide candidates with further training to manage the transition to adult cricket.

The course is a combination of tutor led activities and practical work so that attendees get a chance to put their learning into practice on the day.

On completion of the course participants will receive a year’s free membership of ACO, a voucher for an ACO polo shirt and an umpire’s counter/clicker.
